Basketball Game Preview: South Plainfield Tigers vs. McNair Academic Cougars

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the South Plainfield Tigers take on the McNair Academic Cougars at 1:00 p.m. on Friday... The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (South Plainfield has three straight wins, McNair Academic has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

South Plainfield will bounce into Friday's contest after beating Carteret, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. South Plainfield simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat Carteret 72-34.

Meanwhile, McNair Academic lost 81-59 to Newark Collegiate Academy on Monday.

McNair Academic's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for South Plainfield, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
