Soccer Recap: Batavia Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Batavia was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Glenbrook South Titans who were credited with the win.

Batavia's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6-1. As for Glenbrook South, the victory got them back to even at 5-5-3.

Coincidentally, Batavia and Glenbrook South will both be playing Normal Community the next time they take the pitch. The Titans will head out to face the Ironmen at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Bulldogs will play them later in the day, at 1:15 p.m.
