Softball Recap: Tranquillity Comes Up Short

Tranquillity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 20-1 to the Del Oro Suns. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by exactly 19 runs.

Tranquillity's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Del Oro, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season.

Tranquillity will venture away from home to challenge Laton at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Tranquillity's pitchers better be ready for this one: Laton has averaged an impressive 11.6 runs per game this season. As for Del Oro, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wonderful College Prep Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
