Basketball Recap: False River Takes a Loss

False River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 55-54 heartbreaker at the hands of the Berchmans Academy Saints. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Gators this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 45-35 back in December of 2024.

False River's defeat dropped their record down to 9-17. As for Berchmans Academy, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-9.

False River has already played their next game (against North Iberville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Berchmans Academy has already played their next match, a 52-32 loss against St. Edmund on the 28th.
