Seaside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 42-21 to the Archie Williams Peregrine Falcons. On the bright side, the 21- point performance marked the Spartans' highest-scoring match to date.

Seaside's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Archie Williams, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seaside will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Santa Cruz at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. As for Archie Williams, they will take on Novato at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The game will give the Peregrine Falcons their first taste of in-conference action this season.
