Volleyball Recap: Rock Hill Comes Up Short

Rock Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against the Wheelersburg Pirates, falling 3-0. The Redmen were not able to make up for their defeat to the Pirates from their previous meeting back in October of 2016.

The final score came out to 25-6, 25-12, 25-5.

Khloe Kline paced Rock Hill's offense, picking up two kills. Kline got some help from Lexi Mullens and her three assists.

Mylee Gleim went supernova For Wheelersburg., getting 19 digs and two assists. Gleim has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Rock Hill's loss dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Wheelersburg, their win was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-3.

Rock Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wheelersburg, after both having extra time off, they and Huntington will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
