Football Game Preview: Browning Indians vs. East Helena Vigilantes + How To Watch

The Browning Indians will venture away from home to face off against the East Helena Vigilantes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Browning has given up an average of 46.6 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Browning is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight games on Friday. They had to suffer through a 59-16 loss at the hands of Fergus. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Montana football rankings (they are ranked 60th, while the Golden Eagles are ranked fourth).

Meanwhile, East Helena was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 25-19 to Laurel. The Vigilantes gained 59 more yards on the day, but it was the Locomotives that made the best use of them.

Browning will need to focus on slowing down Deondray Ellis, one of several East Helena players who made an impact when they last played. He picked up 90 receiving yards and one score.

East Helena's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Browning, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Browning was taken down by East Helena 47-13 when the teams last played back in September of 2022. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Indians were down 20-0.
