Softball Recap: Hartfield Academy Hawks vs. Presbyterian Christian Bobcats
Hartfield Academy got themselves on the board against Presbyterian Christian on Tuesday, but Presbyterian Christian never followed suit. Everything went their way against the Presbyterian Christian Bobcats as they made off with a 10-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Hawks, who have now won 11 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Raegan Huber made a splash no matter where she played. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.
In other batting news, Carson Smith was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Shamya Williams, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.
The win made it two in a row for Hartfield Academy and bumps their season record up to 14-6. As for Presbyterian Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.
