Tipton had won three straight games and Grady Carpenter did his part to make it four on Friday. The Tipton Blue Devils walked away with a 52-40 win over the Benton Central Bison thanks to Carpenter, who went 7-for-13 to rack up 21 points in addition to eight assists and five rebounds. His evening made it nine games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points.

Another player making a difference was Peyton Auler, who posted 12 points and four steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in steals.

Tipton pushed their record up to 15-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Benton Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-13.

Coming up, Tipton will challenge Lewis Cass at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Benton Central, they will square off against Logansport at 7:30 p.m. on February 28th.
