It was a good run, but Waxahachie unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Argyle Eagles by a score of 2-1.

Chloe Sims paced Waxahachie's offense, picking up ten kills. Sims got some help from Ashlyn Cavazos and her 13 assists.

Waxahachie's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Argyle, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-2.

Waxahachie didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Midway on the 26th. As for Argyle, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Marcus on the 25th.
