Soccer Recap: South Florence Comes Up Short on the Road Against West Florence

South Florence had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 3-1 to the West Florence Knights on Friday. If the Bruins were looking for revenge after losing 7-1 to the Knights when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The win was the third in a row for West Florence, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.

South Florence didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-0 victory against Crestwood on the 11th. As for West Florence, they have also already played their next match, an 8-3 win against Lugoff-Elgin on the 11th.
