Basketball Recap: Mckee Vo-Tech Makes It Four in a Row at Home

McKee Vo-Tech's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 64-62 win over the New Dorp Central Cougars. This was a revenge game for the Seagulls: when they faced off against the Central Cougars back in December of 2024, they had to take a 68-56 defeat.

McKee Vo-Tech pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for New Dorp, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McKee Vo-Tech will host Eagle Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for New Dorp, they will welcome Tottenville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tottenville will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something New Dorp surely won't give up without a fight.
