St. Mary is 7-1 against West since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Rams will square off against the Wolfpack at 6:01 p.m.

St. Mary's is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Lodi just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to the Flames. While the Rams didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Flames 25-14 in the first set.

St. Mary's started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 14-25, 25-22, 25-17, 25-23.

West had won three straight games and Matthew Deleon did his part to make it four on Tuesday. The Wolfpack walked away with a 3-1 win over Lincoln with plenty of help from Deleon, who had 32 digs and two assists. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 12.3 digs per game.

The victory didn't come easy: Lincoln scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-20, 19-25, 25-19.

West pushed their record up to 11-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for St. Mary's, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-12.

St. Mary's came out on top in a nail-biter against West in their previous meeting back in March, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
