Baseball Recap: Cedar Creek Comes Up Short

Cedar Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Captain Shreve Gators. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Cougars have suffered since March 12, 2024.

Cedar Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 11-17. As for Captain Shreve, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-12.

While Cedar Creek had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
