Baseball Recap: Terry Comes Up Short

Terry came into this matchup off a tough seven-run loss last Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the West Jones Mustangs by a score of 8-6 on Friday. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Kyle Crandell made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Charlie Davis was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.

Terry's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for West Jones, their win bumped their record up to 12-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Mustangs beat Terry by a score of 16-1 later that day.
