Baseball Recap: Holy Cross Comes Up Short

Holy Cross was the 11-1 winner over Naugatuck when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Crusaders fell just short of the Greyhounds by a score of 3-2 on Thursday.

Holy Cross' defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Naugatuck, their victory bumped their record up to 15-7.

While Holy Cross had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
