Volleyball Recap: Trinity Comes Up Short

Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Timber Creek Falcons. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Falcons when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-16, 25-16.

Timber Creek was led to victory by Addison Wilcox and Lillian Day. Wilcox had 12 digs and two assists, while Day had eight assists and three digs. Wilcox is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last ten games she's played. Megan Lynn also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 11-17. As for Timber Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 13-11.

Coincidentally, Trinity and Timber Creek will both be playing Keller the next time they take the court. The Trojans will host the Indians at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Falcons will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
