Basketball Recap: Bay Comes Up Short

Bay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Riverside Rebels and fell 62-21. While losing is never fun, the Yellowjackets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 224th, while the Rebels are ranked 37th).

Bay's defeat dropped their record down to 4-20. As for Riverside, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 26-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bay has already played their next contest (against Buffalo Island Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Riverside will face off against Marmaduke at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing isn't great for Marmaduke: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Riverside has snatched up six consecutive wins on the road.
