Baseball Game Preview: Franklin Central Flashes vs. Indianapolis Bishop Chatard Trojans

Franklin Central lost 12-5 to Zionsville on Thursday.

Franklin Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kyle Piersall, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one RBI. Ryan Lovell was another, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory hit Indianapolis Bishop Chatard with a six-run sixth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Trojans fell 7-4 to the Braves. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Franklin Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Indianapolis Bishop Chatard, their loss dropped their record down to 11-8.
