Football Recap: Pittsfield Keeps New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly's Under Pressure

Pittsfield extended their losing streak to five on Friday, dropping them down to 0-5. They took a 27-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly Vipers. The game marked the Saukees' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Even if they lost, Pittsfield's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Zane Perry refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself.

As for New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly, they now have a winning record of 3-2. The win continues a trend for them in their matchups with Pittsfield: they've now won four in a row.

Michael Pecoraro went supernova, rushing for 145 yards and three TDs while picking up 9.1 yards per carry.

Coming up, Pittsfield is taking a road trip to take on Maroa-Forsyth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Saukees will need to watch out since the Trojans have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
