Springfield came out on top against Manzanola on Tuesday thanks in part to Hudson Gourley's efforts. Gourley was unstoppable, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Springfield is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 2-6 otherwise.

Gourley's strong effort led Springfield over Manzanola and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Longhorns are 9-1 against the Bobcats going back to March of 2015, a lead they'll look to extend.
