It was a good run, but Weeki Wachee unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They came up short against the Wiregrass Ranch Bulls, falling 13-4.

Lilly Connell was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Jayden Russo, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Weeki Wachee's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Wiregrass Ranch, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Weeki Wachee will host Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wiregrass Ranch, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Wharton at 7:00 p.m.
