After losing to Jackson County the last time they met, York Institute decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Dragons skirted past the Blue Devils  3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Dragons sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
 York Institute was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (110-108), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-20, 25-21, 14-25,  21-19.
 Despite the  defeat, Jackson County saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Rylee Lynn  had 15  digs and one assist. Those 15  digs set a new season-high mark for  Lynn.
The  win  got York Institute back to even at 5-5. As for Jackson County, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-15 record  this season.
 We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. York Institute will  challenge  rival Red Boiling Springs  at 5:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Jackson County is set to  take on  their familiar foe Clay County  at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
