Basketball Recap: Hubbard's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

Hubbard can finally bid farewell to their ten-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Holy Trinity Catholic Celtics a 2-0 shutout. The two-point effort marked the Jaguars' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Hubbard's win bumped their record up to 2-12. As for Holy Trinity Catholic, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Hubbard Jaguars duke it out with the Rosebud-Lott Cougars at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Holy Trinity Catholic, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Providence Prep at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
