Boyle County was the 2-0 winner over Lexington Christian when they last played one another back in October of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Rebels came up short against the Eagles on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Rebels' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

While Boyle County ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-19, 25-18.

Boyle County's loss dropped their record down to 13-18. As for Lexington Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 18-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Boyle County will host Danville Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lexington Christian, they will welcome Garrard County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
