Basketball Recap: Brady Mcconnell's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Bellwood-Antis over Central

Bellwood-Antis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They came up short against the Central Dragons, falling 60-35. While losing is never fun, the Blue Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 644th, while the Dragons are ranked 113th).

Bellwood-Antis lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Brady Mcconnell, who posted four points. Braylon Litzinger also deserves some recognition as he scored his first points of the season.

Bellwood-Antis' defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Central, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-3.

Bellwood-Antis didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 67-22 loss against Bishop Guilfoyle on the 24th. As for Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 64-43 win against Bald Eagle Area on the 24th.
