Volleyball Recap: Aurora West College Prep Academy Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Aurora West College Prep Academy can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the DSST: College View Wolves on Friday. The Spartans have struggled against the Wolves recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Jesse Dominguez Parra paced Aurora West College Prep Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Dominguez Parra got some help from Erick Uriarte and his 17 assists.

Aurora West College Prep Academy's loss dropped their record down to 13-10. As for DSST: College View, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 19-6.

Aurora West College Prep Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for DSST: College View, they will square off against Severance at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Silver Knights will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something the Wolves surely won't give up without a fight.
