Talawanda has gone 9-1 against Northwest recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Brave will be playing at home against the Knights at 5:00 p.m. Talawanda is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Talawanda's offense. They came up short against Larue County on Thursday, falling 16-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Brave were not able to get on the board.

Talawanda got a good showing from Austin Puckett, who tossed three innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Northwest, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They won by a run and slipped past Hughes 5-4.

The win got Northwest back to even at 1-1. As for Talawanda, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Everything went Talawanda's way against Northwest in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Talawanda made off with a 13-3 victory. Do the Brave have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Knights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
