Soccer Game Preview: Peoria Christian vs. Olympia

The Peoria Christian Chargers will head out on the road to square off against the Olympia Spartans at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Peoria Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They blew past Manual 4-1 on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Peoria Christian.

They hit Manual with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ruby Hauter, KhloeAnn Oswald, Molly Hellinga, and Isabella Merdian.

Meanwhile, Olympia kept a clean sheet against East Peoria on Friday. They put the hurt on the Raiders with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Peoria Christian's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matchups. As for Olympia, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-8-1.
