Basketball Recap: Wrightstown Comes Up Short

After flying high against Valders last Friday, Wrightstown came back down to earth. The match between the Wrightstown Tigers and the Fox Valley Lutheran Foxes didn't end well, with the Wrightstown Tigers falling 62-45. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Foxes: they've now lost four in a row.

Wrightstown's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Fox Valley Lutheran, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wrightstown will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Oconto Falls at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st. As for Fox Valley Lutheran, they will square off against Ripon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
