Volleyball Game Preview: Grand Junction Central Warriors vs. Montrose Red Hawks + How To Watch

Grand Junction Central hasn't had much luck against Montrose recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Warriors will venture away from home to challenge the Red Hawks at 6:00 p.m.

Grand Junction Central lost 3-0 to Fruita Monument on Thursday.

While Grand Junction Central was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-23, 25-21.

Despite the loss, Grand Junction Central saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Delany Nostrand had 11 digs and three aces. Nostrand has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

Meanwhile, Montrose put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against Durango as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-16, 25-23.

Grand Junction Central's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Montrose, their win bumped their record up to 15-0.

Grand Junction Central might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Montrose when the teams last played back in September. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
