Basketball Recap: Antigo Takes a Loss

After flying high against Wausau East last Thursday, Antigo came back down to earth. The Antigo Red Robins were beaten by the Lakeland Thunderbirds 80-22 on Friday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Robins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 87-14 back in December of 2024.

Antigo's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Lakeland, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

Antigo didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 39-37 loss against Ashland on the 4th. Lakeland has also already played their next match, a 93-36 win against Solon Springs on the 4th.
