While Carrboro's win against Cedar Ridge wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Jaguars sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Fighting Red Wolves on Wednesday. The win was familiar territory for Carrboro, who have now won three contests in a row.

Benny Wittmayer and Jacob Burstein scored both of Carrboro's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 22 goals.

Carrboro's victory bumped their record up to 11-8-1. As for Cedar Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8-2.
