Baseball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 11-1 to the Davenport North Wildcats. If the Hawks were looking for revenge after losing 15-6 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Davenport North, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-2.

Jefferson wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 13-3 defeat against Wahlert on the 28th. As for Davenport North, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-3 loss against Bettendorf on the 29th.
