Softball Recap: Washington Takes a Loss

Washington fell victim to Bishop Ward and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 16-0 to the Cyclones. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cyclones this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 on Tuesday.

Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. Bishop Ward has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Washington has already played their next contest, a 16-0 loss against Shawnee Mission West on the 27th. As for Bishop Ward, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Sumner Academy at 4:00 p.m. on April 25.
