Volleyball Recap: St. Augustine Makes It Six in a Row at Home

St. Augustine barely beat Scripps Ranch the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Saints blew past the Falcons 3-0 on Wednesday. The Saints haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

While St. Augustine won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-19, 26-24.

Owen Adams paced St. Augustine's offense, picking up 11 kills. Adams got some help from Oliver Fendley and his 19 assists. Adams was also a major player on defense: he and he shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with three each.

St. Augustine pushed their record up to 17-10 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Scripps Ranch, their loss dropped their record down to 20-15.
