Basketball Recap: North Olmsted Eagles vs. Fairview Warriors
North Olmsted's game on Monday was all tied up 27-27 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 62-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fairview Warriors. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Loss or not, North Olmsted got some senior leadership from Katie Strong and Rose Lane. Strong dropped a double-double on 12 points and 15 boards, while Lane dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. Lane's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Amaya Capps, who posted nine points in addition to six boards and four steals.

Even though they lost, North Olmsted smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 19 consecutive matchups.
