Softball Recap: Penn Yan Academy Comes Up Short

Penn Yan Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 19-5 to the Waterloo Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 23-3 last Thursday.

Penn Yan Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Waterloo, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Penn Yan Academy has already played their next game, a 12-0 loss against Dundee/Bradford Central on the 9th. As for Waterloo, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 10-3 defeat against Lyons on the 9th.
