Basketball Game Preview: High Point Central Bison vs. Southwest Guilford Cowboys

High Point Central hasn't had much luck against Southwest Guilford recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Bison will challenge the Cowboys at 6:00 p.m.

On Wednesday, High Point Central had to suffer through a 51-23 loss at the hands of Asheboro.

Meanwhile, Southwest Guilford strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They skirted past Southeast Guilford 44-41. The game was the first time the Cowboys have beaten the Falcons on their court since January 6, 2023.

High Point Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Southwest Guilford, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

High Point Central was dealt a bruising 57-18 loss at the hands of Southwest Guilford when the teams last played two weeks ago. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Bison were down 35-13.
