Softball Recap: Kingsford Takes a Loss

Kingsford lost against Gladstone back in May of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Flivvers came up short against the Braves, falling 9-2. That's two games in a row now that the Flivvers have lost by exactly seven runs.

Kingsford saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adelyn Normand, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double. That run marked the first that Normand has scored this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Kingsford and nudges their season record down to 5-4. As for Gladstone, the win keeps they at an undefeated 10-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kingsford will challenge Hancock at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Gladstone, they will square off against Houghton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
