Chaparral came tearing into Thursday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Desert Mountain Wolves 3-0. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-0 win back in September.

While Chaparral won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-19, 25-22.

Allison Wong and Miranda McDonald certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Wong had ten digs and three aces, while McDonald had seven digs.

Chaparral's win bumped their record up to 26-4. As for Desert Mountain, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-20 record this season.
