Aledo entered their tilt with Granbury on Tuesday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. Their defense stepped up to hand the Granbury Pirates a 3-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Bearcats, who have now won nine games by three goals or more so far this season.

Aledo pushed their record up to 14-4 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up three goals over those seven matches. As for Granbury, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-8.

Coming up, Aledo will venture away from home to take on Azle at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Azle's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Granbury, they will be playing at home against Chisholm Trail at 7:45 p.m. on Friday.
