Preview: Bell Gardens vs. Schurr
Bell Gardens will be playing in front of their home fans against Schurr at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bell Gardens will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
Last Thursday, Bell Gardens was able to grind out a solid victory over San Gabriel, taking the game 4-2.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought match, but Schurr had to settle for a 2-1 defeat against Alhambra on Thursday. Schurr has not had much luck with Alhambra recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Bell Gardens pushed their record up to 12-2-2 with that victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 4.0 goals per game. As for Schurr, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13-4 record this season.
Everything went Bell Gardens' way against Schurr in their previous meeting on January 4th as Bell Gardens made off with a 4-0 win. Does Bell Gardens have another victory up their sleeve, or will Schurr turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
