Soccer Recap: Bowie Comes Up Short

Bowie was the 6-1 winner over Dripping Springs when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bowie Bulldogs fell just short of the Dripping Springs Tigers by a score of 1-0 on Friday.

Bowie's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Dripping Springs, they pushed their record up to 6-3-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Bowie will square off against Westlake at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Westlake is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.7 goals per game this season. As for Dripping Springs, they are taking a road trip to take on Lake Travis at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Travis will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Dripping Springs surely won't give up without a fight.
