Volleyball Recap: Northwest Whitfield Comes Up Short

Northwest Whitfield was the 2-0 winner over Chattooga when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bruins fell just short of the Indians by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Bruins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jenna Quinn paced Northwest Whitfield's offense, picking up nine kills. Quinn got some help from Megan Torbett and her 17 assists. Torbett was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Northwest Whitfield's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Chattooga, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2.

Northwest Whitfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Pepperell on the 23rd. As for Chattooga, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Trion on the 23rd.
