Softball Recap: Marion Takes a Loss

Marion lost against East Clarendon two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Swamp Foxes fell 9-5 to the Wolverines.

Maliyah Williams made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Sheteira Bethea, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Marion's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for East Clarendon, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Marion nor East Clarendon have any future games scheduled.
