Basketball Recap: Halstead Continues Home Dominance on Friday

Halstead entered their tilt with Haven on Friday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They took down the Haven Wildcats 51-34. Given the Dragons' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked ninth, while the Wildcats are ranked 88th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Halstead pushed their record up to 16-1 with the victory, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.3 points over those games. As for Haven, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-5-1.
