After a string of ten wins, the Astoria Fishermen's's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of Scappoose by a score of 73-70. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Astoria will square off against Tillamook at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tillamook will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Oregon Rankings (they are ranked 215th, while Astoria is ranked 24th).
