Woodbridge faced Milford in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Raiders had just enough and edged out the Buccaneers 5-3. The victory was familiar territory for the Raiders, who have now won three contests in a row.

Austin Griffith was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple was his first of the season. Cameron Anthony was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Woodbridge's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Milford, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.

Woodbridge will head out to square off against Laurel at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Milford has already played their next game (against the Barrons), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
