Volleyball Recap: Purcell Marian Comes Up Short

If Purcell Marian was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Clark Montessori on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cavaliers came up short against the Colerain Cardinals on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Cavaliers have struggled against the Cardinals recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-12, 25-10.

Purcell Marian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Colerain, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-3.

Coming up, Purcell Marian will face off against North College Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Colerain, they will take on Mason at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
